**Areal Finance is a community-driven Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization protocol.** It brings
income-generating real-world assets on-chain and makes them liquid, composable, and collectively
owned by its community.

## Real World Engine

Areal assembles a basket of income-generating real-world assets from around the world: cars for
rental fleets, capsule hotels, renewable-energy (solar and wind) stations, and more. Each asset
is tokenized and added to one shared basket that earns real, off-chain yield.

The protocol and its basket are governed by the community, which decides which assets to acquire
and how the income they generate is distributed. The engine turns scattered, illiquid real-world
cash flows into a single liquid, on-chain, community-governed portfolio.

The result is a **productive store of value**: instead of sitting idle, capital is held in real
assets that earn, so value is both preserved and grown from real-world yield.

## Real World Token (RWT)

**RWT is the protocol's utility token.** It reflects your contribution to Areal's RWA basket and
to the growth of the real-world assets within it. Holding RWT means taking part in funding the
basket and sharing in the value those assets build over time.

## Staked RWT (stRWT)

**stRWT is the staked version of RWT.** Stake your RWT to receive stRWT and earn a share of
protocol income, paid as a steadily rising stRWT to RWT exchange rate. Rewards compound
automatically, with no claiming.
